GL Courses Taken

ASN 3410 Intro to East Asia this class gives an in depth view on the history of China, and how far they have come to be what they are today.
ENC 3378 Writing Across Borders - this class focused on different scholars in China and how culture plays an important role in writing.
LAS 3002 Into to Latin America and the Caribbean- this class was geared towards crisis that are on the rise in South America and the Caribbean. Mainly focused on politics and how it affects the country and it's people.

Chinese Salon - focuses on educating students who are interested in further studies in Chinese or just curious about the Chinese culture. Each week we talk on different topics or do different activities.
PAW (Panthers Around the Word) Program - this program helps international transfer students by pairing them up with local students. To help them get acquainted with not only the campus but life in Miami.
Tuesdays Times Round Table - Presents different global topics each week, that allows us to see problems that are either happening or being fixed around the world and here in America.
Summer English Immersion Internship - takes place in Macau China, it allows Chinese students to be immersed in an all English program for a month. Upon entering this program they have leave behind Chinese and only speak English as a way to help them achieve the grades they need to get into the University of Macau.
