My name is Tishana White, I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Jamaica, where I lived for 12 years before migrating to the United States. I will be graduating this fall with a Bachelors in English on the Linguistics tract and a certificate in Asian Global and Latin American. I plan on continuing my studies with FIU ( Florida International University) in the field of Masters in International Business. 
       I joined the Global Medallion program in spring 2018. I was informed about this program through my visit to one of the Tuesdays Times round table. 
      My goals are to connect with the world through teaching and sharing my culture and language or working as a Speech Pathologist. I believe that connecting the world through a lending hand can bring us closer to less social conflicts.
